At MyGroupSolutions we are dedicated to environmental sustainability and limiting the impact that our business operations have on the environment. We think that our customers want to do the same, so our environmental policy includes helping our customer’s do their bit when selecting products and services.

Our selection of products, the companies we partner with, and our suppliers are based on quality, reliability and value but also how they impact the environment.

FP Mailing

MyGroupSolutions are a dealer of FP Mailing who manufacture mailing equipment at their facilities in Germany. FP have openly committed to meeting EU environmental legislation but have gone further by setting their own environmental emission objectives and targets.

To monitor and achieve these goals FP have implemented an EMS (Environmental Management System) which is accredited for ISO 14001:2015.

Toshiba

We are very proud to be a Toshiba partner. Toshiba’s production facilities are certified to the international standard ISO 14001:2015 and is fully compliant with the CO2 standard, guaranteeing that all their products and activities are produced and carried out in line with the strictest environmental criteria. Toshiba believe that improving energy-saving performance leads to significant reductions in CO2 emissions and they want to do this by developing and providing advanced energy-saving technologies.

They have committed to achieving zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2050. Ricoh’s pledge to protect the planet goes far beyond reducing just their own environmental footprint by helping businesses work smarter, use less resources and effectively manage environmental performance.

Envelopes

The supplies of paper used in the manufacture of our envelopes for your mailing equipment hold FSC and PEFC accreditation. The FSC in an international organisation which promotes responsible stewardship of the world’s forests. PEFC works throughout the forest supply chain promoting good practice and offers assurances that our products are independently verified as originating from responsibly managed forests.

Choosing a product with this accreditation ensures that they are sourced and produced in compliance with these globally recognised ecological, social and economic standards.

Offsetting our carbon footprint

Our businesses produced an estimated 13.3 tonnes of Co2 (Carbon Dioxide) between 21/08/18 – 20/08/19. This calculation included our business activities, use of resources, energy consumption and our commutes to work. We are committed to reducing this each year but in 2019 have offset this carbon in support of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.

We have signed up to support the Borehole project in Uganda which provides a source of clean drinking water to a local community and works towards 4 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
